Millennium@EDU World Classroom Partnership

In 2013, Millennium@EDU committed to digitally connect and empower 1,500 classrooms around the world. In partnership with more than 83 corporations, local businesses, and other stakeholders, Millennium@EDU will provide Solution Packs containing both digital tools and educational materials to these classrooms over the next three years. The Packs, implemented with local partners, will be used to teach 21st century skills, improve teachers' access to professional development opportunities, and create digital 'sister classroom' partnerships for every participating classroom. These long-distance relationships will not only teach students to use digital tools, but will encourage the development of foreign language skills, communication, problem solving, creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Millennium@EDU, which has a track record of successful digital educational initiatives, believes that connecting classrooms around the world - to the internet and to each other - will result in empowered students who are able to create greater economic, social, and political opportunity within their communities.

The World Classroom Partnership was developed in partnership with the Clinton Foundation.
