Mr. Max Schleser
Dr. Max RC Schleser is a researcher and a creative producer who explores mobile devices as creative and educational tools. His portfolio includes various mobile media projects, which are screened at film and new media festivals internationally.
Max’s research investigates pioneering art and media projects and illustrates how innovative creative practices can drive innovation in other areas such as business and educational environments.
Max worked on mobile media consultancy projects for Nokia, Adobe and Frontier Strategy. Furthermore, he co-founded the international mobile creative network MINA, the Mobile Innovation Network Aotearoa, which aim to explore the possibilities of interaction between people, content and the mobile industry.
Before moving to New Zealand Max lectured in London (U.K.), Gaborone (Botswana) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) on the subject of Mobile Media. Max was invited to speak at a number of international conferences and industry summits including Nokia Maemo Summit (Amsterdam, Netherlands); Cité des Télécoms (Plomeur-Bodou, France) KL TechNite (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia); Telecommunication Technologies and Social Change (Ryihad, Saudi-Arabia); Mobilefest, (San Paulo, Brazil); Future Flux (Innovation Centre, St Martin’s University of London, UK); Digital Horizons (Brighton, UK); Conflux Festival (New York City, USA) or ITP, Tisch School of the Arts, NYU (New York City, USA) among others.
